I liked the camera perspective, other than that the only saving grace for this film i believe is the fact that it has roots in reality, while MMS scandals are and will always be a pull for the masses!
Concept is sound, tried and tested different lives and how they all are connected in some way or another. If your looking for a same concept movie i would suggest Brooklyn's Finest!
This post is only my opinion of the film.

I more or less agree with your review. I don't feel the film lives up to its hype.
ReplyDeleteI felt it was rooted in reality only in its thematic & stylistic aspects. The dialogue was contrived and the acting, in my opinion, was over the top (for this kind of film).
I liked the cinematography, though, and most of the characters were well rounded; they were the kind of characters you want to know more about, so kudos to Dibakar Banerjee on that.
P.S. Brooklyn's Finest????? Seriously????? There ain't enough LSD in the world...
well for starters...is this a comment or another blog post...
ReplyDeletehave you ever watched 'Brooklyn's Finest' if yes then you would know what i was referring to.
Since this is a comment and not another blog post i will stop here.
Another blog post, huh? So, you fancy yourself to be a comedian, I take it! Don't quit your day job, you're no George Carlin!! And are you sure that was a comment? Cause the brevity of your blog posts could put most tweets to shame...
